WT3-201 Wire Crimp Pull Testers

Mark-10’s wire crimp pull testers are designed to assess the pull-off force of crimped terminals, offering a capacity of up to 200 lbF (1 kN) for wire diameters as large as 0.25 inches (6.4 mm). Customers can choose from the cost-effective and rapid WT3-201 benchtop model, the motorized WT3-201M version, or the handheld Series R06 for portability. Each model is capable of recording peak forces and facilitates data transfer to a PC through USB connectivity.

For applications requiring the measurement of higher forces or the testing of larger samples, a test stand-based configuration is recommended. This setup allows for a customized combination of a test stand, force gauge, and grips to suit specific testing needs.

The WT3-201 model specifically targets the measurement of pull-off force in both wire and tube terminations, featuring an ergonomic lever for the easy application of force up to 200 lbF (1,000 N). It includes an adjustable grip for wire terminals, accommodating multiple wire diameters up to AWG 3 (0.25 inches or 6.3 mm), and is compatible with various insulation types. This tester boasts a large, backlit graphic LCD for displaying critical information such as real-time and peak force, programmable pass/fail criteria, measurement units, and more. It supports data transfer via USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic), or analog outputs, and visually represents the applied force with an analog load bar.

With the capacity to store up to 1,000 readings and perform statistical analyses, the tester also features automatic functions for output, data storage, and zeroing when a sample breaks, streamlining the testing process.

Additional accessories include an optional fixture for securing ring terminations and a carrying case for easy and secure transportation.
