The MTT01 Series Cap Torque Testers are engineered for precision measurement of both the application and removal torque of bottle caps, with a capacity of up to 100 lbFin [11.5 Nm]. They feature adjustable posts to securely accommodate a wide variety of container shapes and sizes, and offer optional jaws for handling unique container profiles. Constructed from durable aluminum and designed for straightforward, user-friendly operation, these testers are suitable for both laboratory and production settings.
With an industry-leading accuracy of ±0.3% and an exceptionally rapid sampling rate of 7,000 Hz, the MTT01 Series guarantees dependable and uniform results, even in fast-paced testing scenarios. To safeguard against unauthorized adjustments, password protection for settings and calibration is included.
Enhancing productivity, the MTT01 comes equipped with multiple output options including USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo, and analog. It features automatic data output and zeroing when the cap is removed, can store up to 1,000 readings, and provides pass/fail indicators and outputs. The capability to detect first/second peak torque values is particularly useful for assessing slip and breakaway torques in tamper-evident closures.
Included with the MTT01 testers is the MESUR® Lite data acquisition software, which simplifies the process of tabulating continuous or single-point data. The software facilitates easy bulk downloading of data stored in the tester’s memory and offers a one-click export feature to Excel for advanced data analysis.
